IRA Overview

An Individual Retirement Account (IRA) is a personal retirement savings and investment account that provides attractive U.S. tax advantages. IRA’s are self-directed and accommodate a much wider variety of investment options than do company 401(k) plans. For these reasons, an IRA may be an attractive part of your retirement portfolio, even if you are contributing substantially to your employer’s 401(k) plan.

There are two types of IRA’s, both of which are offered at Eventide: Traditional and Roth.
