Distribution Support Specialist Role

As part of the Distribution team, the Distribution Support Specialist will work under the supervision of the Director of Distribution in helping drive new assets into Eventide by supporting the Key Accounts effort. The role will require both independent and collaborative work in a small firm setting. The ideal candidate will have high integrity, be a self-starter and team player, who is diligent with details and eager to learn
the details of the key accounts process. The role requires a flexible mindset and will have a diverse set of responsibilities, challenges, processes, and stakeholders in a small, growing company and thus presents a unique opportunity for the right candidate to obtain broad investment industry experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage Key Accounts responsibilities under the supervision of the Director of Distribution
  • Work as a member of the Distribution team to develop new platform and recommended list placement for Eventide Funds
  • Maintain DDQ Answer Bank database with current responses and assist as needed with Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Ensure platform availability and notes are maintained accurately in Salesforce and Asana
  • Execute various Key Accounts administrative responsibilities, including share class, additional fund negotiations, and ongoing contract administration issues
  • Maintain and update the broker/dealer platform records and help maintain key platform relationships
  • Perform research on various broker/dealer platforms including competitor landscape and platform requirements
  • Support new fund launches or client onboarding
  • Works in collaboration with the Distribution team, as well as supports the investment-consulting group, sales, and marketing teams
  • Articulate the Eventide story, Business 360 process and current macroeconomic views
  • Gain a deep understanding of the responsible and sustainable investing landscape, including and especially Christian faith-based approaches and nuances
  • Review and understand both complimentary BRI offerings as well as competitor non-BRI investments


  • Minimum BA/BS or equivalent in business/finance or related field
  • 1-3 years of financial services industry experience
  • Strong desire to serve and care for the needs of the team and client base
  • Strong knowledge of capital markets and mutual fund securities
  • Strong organizational skills with the flexibility to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Proven selling and relationship building skills
  • Self-motivated team player who can work in a small office environment
  • FINRA series 7 & 66 (or ability to obtain in first 3 months)
  • Strong computer skills, including PowerPoint, and Excel and have the ability to run Morningstar reports
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to work hard
  • Must have good communications skills and be a team player
  • Adheres to the highest ethical standards, personally and professionally
