    Joy Ghosh, PhD, serves as a Senior Research Analyst at Eventide, with a primary focus on healthcare and life sciences.

    Dr. Ghosh has a cross-disciplinary background in biopharma/biotech R&D, business development/M&A, and healthcare investing. Prior to joining Eventide, from 2017-2020, he was an Associate and then Vice President at Bain Capital for their Life Sciences Fund. From 2016-2017, he was a Senior Manager at Biogen. From 2009-2016, he was an Investigator at the Novartis Institutes of Biomedical Research. Prior to Novartis, he was a postdoctoral scientist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School and Boston University School of Medicine.

    Dr. Ghosh holds a PhD from the University of Washington, Seattle in Biomolecular Structure and Design and a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin.

  2. Faina Rozental

    Faina Rozental serves as a Research Analyst for Eventide. She is primarily responsible for evaluating and monitoring new and existing investment opportunities in the portfolios.

    Ms. Rozental has an MBA with certificates in finance and sustainability from the MIT Sloan School of Management. During her time at MIT, she worked at Goldman Sachs and the MIT Office of Sustainability. Prior to MIT, she managed social due diligence at Root Capital, an agricultural impact investor, and earlier was responsible for OECD research sales in North America.

    Ms. Rozental holds a B.A./M.A. in Economics from Boston University.

  3. Reggie Smith

    Reggie Smith serves as a Research Analyst for Eventide. He is primarily responsible for evaluating and monitoring new and existing investment opportunities, with a focus on clean energy.

    Mr. Smith spent five years at Johnson Controls where he developed large energy conservation and solar projects and, most recently, led the development engineering for an energy storage start-up business within the firm. He spent the Summer of 2019 at Marathon Capital, an investment bank in clean energy, and at Eventide evaluating renewable energy investments.

    Mr. Smith holds an MBA with High Distinction from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University.

  4. Christian Say

    Christian Say serves as an Associate Research Analyst for Eventide. He is responsible for evaluating and monitoring new and existing investment opportunities in the portfolios.

    Prior to joining Eventide in 2019, Mr. Say led operations for multiple technology and AI startups specializing in aerial data capture for geographic information systems, machine learning models for specialized image recognition, and enterprise new technology implementations. He also worked in private financial services supporting strategic planning, entrepreneurship, and non-profit work.

    Mr. Say is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Princeton University.

  5. Brian Chow, PhD

    Brian Chow, PhD, serves as an Associate Research Analyst for Eventide. He is primarily responsible for evaluating and monitoring new and existing healthcare and life sciences investment opportunities in the portfolios.

    Dr. Chow has a PhD in Neuroscience from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Arts and Science, where he studied the biological mechanisms underlying the blood-brain barrier, with the potential to enhance drug delivery to the brain to treat neurological disorders. He published his discoveries as the first author in the journals Nature and Neuron. He has also written two review articles published in Nature Review Neuroscience and Trends in Neuroscience.

    Dr. Chow holds a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry from the University of California San Diego.

  6. Suan Tuang, MD, PhD

    Suan Tuang, MD, PhD serves as an Associate Research Analyst for Eventide. He is primarily responsible for evaluating and monitoring new and existing healthcare and life sciences investment opportunities in the portfolios.

    Prior to joining Eventide, Dr. Tuang was in the Harvard-MIT MD/PhD program. He has a PhD in Chemistry from MIT, where he developed bioconjugation tools for protein therapeutics, and an MD from Harvard Medical School. He is a 2016 Paul and Daisy Soros Fellow and holds a BS in Chemistry from MIT.

  7. Dashell Laryea

    Dashell Laryea serves as an Associate Research Analyst for Eventide. He is responsible for evaluating and monitoring new and existing investment opportunities in the portfolios.

    Prior to joining Eventide in 2021, Mr. Laryea led strategy and operations at Google. He also worked as a management consultant at FSG, the firm co-founded by Michael Porter and Mark Kramer, on competitive strategies for large corporates.

    Mr. Laryea holds a B.A. in Humanities from Yale University

  8. David Hoyme

    David Hoyme serves as the Business 360 Manager and as a Research Analyst for Eventide. He leads the development and implementation of the Business 360 Program. Additionally, he is responsible for evaluating and monitoring new and existing investment opportunities in the portfolios.

    Prior to joining Eventide, Mr. Hoyme was an Associate at Goldman Sachs in the Consumer and Investment Management Division. Before that, he was a Director at Overland Missions and helped develop their sustainable enterprise and water drilling efforts in Sub-Saharan Africa.

    Mr. Hoyme holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a B.A in International Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

  9. Brock Treworgy, CAMS, CFE

    Brock Treworgy, CAMS, CFE serves as a Business 360 Analyst for Eventide. His investment research focuses on how a business’s management, ethical practices, and stakeholder value creation indicate and contribute to overall performance.

    Prior to joining Eventide, Mr. Treworgy worked at Vcheck Global, specializing in pre-initial public offering and international due diligence. Prior to that, he served as an Associate Investment Director at Cambridge Associates on their Business Risk Management team.

    Mr. Treworgy holds a B.A. from The George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs, and is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).

  10. Ruben Walter

    Ruben Walter serves as Business 360 Associate Analyst for Eventide. He is responsible for investment research into business management, ethical practices, and stakeholder value creation.

    Mr. Walter holds a B.A. in Economics and International Relations from Wheaton College, Illinois.
